The Taku Store, Smokeries and Fishery is a family owned company founded in 1989. We do business under our corporate entity, Southeast Alaska Salmon Company. The whole Taku operation is located on the Gastineau Channel in downtown Juneau, Alaska, where local fishermen can pull right up to our dock and unload their bounties of fresh wild Alaska seafood. We sell fish direct to consumers at our retail store in Juneau, as well as via this website and our catalog business. We also have a robust wholesale business selling seafood to discriminating distributors that supply our special seafood products to the best restaurants in U.S. and abroad. If you cruise up to Juneau, remember to stop by Taku Store and have a free taste or our wonderful smoked salmon.
